Merrie has written several books on Marketing and Communication including Words Matter, Marketing Magic and Marketplace Communication.
“Words Matter,” is a book of short essays or lessons, written by Merrie Spaeth over three years for UPI. It is an exploration about how we communicate. Mostly, it’s about how we mess-up communication. We think we’re communicating when we move our lips or tap on a keyboard. As a consultant, Merrie urges her clients to approach communication with the same rigor they apply to other aspects of their business. Most of these essays deal with the business world because that’s shorthand for our economic system, the most productive in the world.
